The Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% 2 is designed to push the limits of performance in marathons and long-distance running.

The system includes a full-length ZoomX foam midsole, curved carbon plate, Atomknit 2.0 upper, thinner rubber outsole and wider heel.

Designed to break through the pinnacle of marathon and long-distance running, the new Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% 2 is a new chapter in Nike’s unremitting efforts to serve runners. The innovative design of Alphafly NEXT% 2 draws on Nike’s experience and achievements in top racing shoes, and upgrades it based on this, bringing a better experience to runners of all levels.

Alphafly NEXT% 2 focuses on upgrading and improving the structure of running shoes, allowing all kinds of runners to obtain better stability and a smooth transition of foot feel during marathon distance running.

The Alphafly NEXT% 2 midsole configuration inherits the excellence of the original generation. It is composed of full-length ZoomX foam (Nike’s lightest and most elastic foam), full-length curved carbon plate and dual Zoom Air air cushion units for running. Provides push, lightness and support.

Additional foam is added under the forefoot Zoom Air unit to provide more energy feedback, ensuring that runners can achieve a smooth transition from heel to forefoot when running. The heel of the shoe last is widened to improve the stability of the shoe when the runner’s cadence changes. The Atomknit 2.0 on the upper is engineered with zoning to ensure closure at the forefoot and breathability above the toe, while adding more comfortable padding under the laces.

Nike’s elite marathon runners have inspired the shoe’s design, and the Alphafly NEXT% 2 Proto colorway is a tribute to Nike’s joint testing and development with athletes. The colorway is marked with a shoe test code on the inside, and the dual Zoom Air units in the forefoot are highlighted with color.

Inspired by elite runners like Eliud Kipchoge, Alphafly NEXT% 2 is dedicated to helping all runners pursue their personal best.
